One of our passions at AG is the process of finding and featuring beautiful, hard-to-find statement pieces to display in homes. Our showroom offers high end accents on constant rotation each month in an effort to give our clients access to these unique pieces, and as part of our partnership with local artisans. Here is a taste of what you’ll find next time you visit the shop!

3 Designer Style Tips

By |June 2nd, 2016|

“Your home should tell the story of who are, and be a collection of what you love.” -Nate Berkus

Hello beauties! Summer is here, and we are so excited about the partners we’ve been blessed to work with this season at AG! The perfect weather has us buzzing for a crafty home project or stylish interior endeavor.

We love hearing from our readers, and one question lots of you ask is for go-to design ideas and tips when taking on a home renovation. Sometimes the excitement of starting a project can become a bit overwhelming when you begin laying out all of your plans and inspiration. How can you bring together all facets of your unique personality and beautiful lifestyle in one room? We always aim to represent our client’s distinctive style with each project, and over time, we’ve developed three signature design tips to making sure your project is just as vibrant as you.

Natural bliss

Bring the outdoors in by incorporating natural elements in your design plans. You can’t go wrong with whimsical wooden and bone accents, a cool and calming paint color, and plenty of light!

Details, darling

Small items add interest and personality to a space. We love bringing in one-of-a-kind objects that represent our client’s best qualities. Sometimes, they even end up being our favorite parts of a design!

Make it yours

Rooms should feel homey and livable, which is why we always strive to design homes that work for the homeowner. When planning your space, remember to show off your favorite photos, display your personal collections, and keep your coffee table books. It’s your home! Let people see that when they walk in.

Painted Pink

Painted Pink

“Being happy never goes out of style.” Lilly Pulitzer

And sometimes it’s style that can make you happy. Whether it’s your home or your business, style can be a difference-maker for you – It can either dazzle or disappoint, and we’re not in the business of disappointing.

Our goal is to bring joy to our clients by helping them discover and express their style, and that’s exactly what we did when we teamed up with to renovate their retail store. This renovation was an amazing experience and the team at Painted Pink was delightful to work with. We’re ecstatic with the final result and wanted to share with you what we accomplished at their store.

Painted Pink: Checkout

At the center of Painted Pink, you will now see an all new front desk with a marble countertop. Shining elegantly above is a lucite chandelier that reflects in the custom mirror built by Ashley Gallion Interiors, that breathes air and light into the space. We used a splash of pink to accent the spacious sitting area and make it pop. We added sleek chairs covered in white cowhide, two-toned curtains and a hide rug to balance out this section of the store. A lucite tripod table with brass accents from Ashley Gallion’s storefront brings light into the area, topped with fresh pink tulips. We added new modern grey washed floor throughout the whole Painted Pink store.

We designed and built custom built display section, with built-in storage that allows Painted Pink to beautifully exhibit their jewelry and accessories. In order to refresh Painted Pink’s jean display we installed urban pipe and beam shelving units, as well as modern open space vertical floor to ceiling display for bags and accessories. Built to keep in eye level view for customers. We added a light shade of grey to the walls, really making the colorful, eye-catching clothes burst and the space bright.

Ashley Gallion Interiors boasts a whole library of textiles in house, utilizing these capabilities, we were able to outfit Painted Pink’s fitting room with various mix of pink, grey and fur textiles. Showcasing fabrics  and furnishings from Duralee, Pindler, Robert Allen, Bernhardt, Aidan Gray and Schumacher. The contemporary slipper chairs fit perfect for this cozy space, and a Regina Andrews white lamp and marble side table from Ashley Gallion Interior’s storefront makes a tailored addition to this corner.

At Ashley Gallion Interiors, giving life to your decor is our goal. We want to breathe fresh air into your interior by providing every space with a unique, organic splash – it’s what we love to do.

Sometimes, though, even we have to improve our look to help you improve yours, and that’s just what we did!

As the calendar changed years, we decided it was time to enhance our look as well. So we completely revamped our website from top to bottom. Why? Because we wanted to give our customers the best user experience possible. The upgrades include a Storefront Gallery, images of our latest projects, a new and exciting blog to keep you updated on what’s happening at the store, our fresh logo, and much more.

Whether you’re in the store or visiting us online, we want your experience to be as seamless and exciting as possible. We love helping our clients and customers express themselves through style… and that’s what we wanted to portray to you through our new website. We really do hope you love it.

Please let us know what you think!

But enough about what’s new with us, have a look at a sneak peak of what could be new in home decor for 2016! Fresh from Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, where the simplest organic accents and neutral tones create a big splash this year!

We will be updating the blog with more goodies from The Atlanta Home Show and bringing you the latest updates from the store.
